What happens if my domain doesn't sell?
Nothing. You owe nothing. Domains that don't sell cost you $0. You can relist, reprice, or remove them at any time.
Do Dumpster Dive credits expire?
No. Credits never expire. Buy 50 today, use them over the next year — they'll still be there.
Can I get a refund on unused search credits?
Credits are non-refundable once purchased, but they never expire so they won't go to waste.
What is the 5% below market requirement for sellers?
Every domain listed here must be priced at least 5% below your lowest public listing on Afternic, Sedo, Flippa, GoDaddy, or Dan.com. We randomly audit 2–5 domains per upload batch to verify compliance.

What is the 5% below-market pricing rule?
Every domain listed here must be priced at least 5% below the lowest price for that same domain on Sedo, Afternic or GoDaddy. Prices are cross-checked at listing time, and a domain that is not at least 5% cheaper is flagged so the seller can adjust it.
Are there listing fees, monthly fees or minimums?
No. There is no charge to list, no monthly fee to list, no minimum portfolio size, and nothing to pay if a domain never sells. Free sellers pay 5% commission on a completed sale.
How does the transfer work after I buy a domain?
Funds are held by Domain Dumpster Dive rather than paid straight to the seller. Once WHOIS confirms ownership has changed to the buyer, the money is released to the seller minus their plan's charge (5% commission on the free plan; Pro members pay 0% commission and only card processing at cost). If the seller does not transfer within 5 days, the transaction is unwound.
